  • Audio and video files — submitted for transcription processing
  • Text messages — commands and interactions with the bot

  • User preferences — interface language, display currency
  • Service usage statistics — minutes used, subscription status
  • Transaction records — payment confirmations for plans and minute packages (no payment card data is stored)
  • Referral program code — if participating in the referral program

5. Data Retention

Key Retention Periods:

  • Audio/video files: Deleted immediately after processing (typically within minutes)
  • Transcription results: Stored for 24 hours to enable download and AI features, then automatically deleted
  • Account data: Retained while account is active; deleted upon request
  • Payment records: Retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data may be shared with:

6.1 Service Providers

  • Speech-to-text providers — for transcription processing only; audio is processed in real-time and not stored by providers
  • AI providers — for summary and translation features
  • Payment processors — for payment processing only (no payment card data is stored by the Service)

Important: All AI providers operate in opt-out mode — your data is never used for model training per our API agreements.

6.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or government request.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • All data is processed on servers located in the European Union
  • Encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.2+)
  • Encrypted storage at rest — personal data and transcriptions are stored encrypted
  • Access controls and authentication
  • Regular security assessments
  • Automatic deletion of processed files
  • Anonymized logging — logs do not contain transcription content or personal data

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

9. Data Deletion

You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting @taktext_support_bot.

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will:

  1. Delete all personal data within 30 days
  2. Confirm deletion in writing
  3. Retain only data required by law (e.g., financial records)

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us for removal.

11. International Data Transfers

All data processing occurs within the European Union. In cases where data may be transferred outside the EU (e.g., to US-based AI providers), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and data processing agreements.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
